Legal Support Investigative Service was founded by Randall Alexander. Randall has
over 25 years of military, law enforcement and investigative experience.
Randall is a veteran, having honorably served two tours active duty in the United
States Marine Corps with a Government Secret Clearance. He served nearly six years
in a leadership position as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Fleet Marine Force.
Randall was selected for the elite Marine Security Guard detachment at Marine Barracks
8th & “I”, Washington, DC where he provided armed perimeter security at the residences
for the ranking Admiral of the United States Navy (CNO) in the Washington Navy Yard
and for the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) at the Marine Barracks.
Randall served next in the infantry, then armored reconnaissance as a vehicle commander,
working with secret encrypted communications equipment, engaged in reconnaissance
& intelligence gathering for the division in excess of 19,000 Marines.
Afterwards, Randall was trained and employed as a Peace Officer in Southern California,
receiving several commendations for: community service, investigative work, top marksmanship
award, and others.
Randall worked as a corporate Internal Fraud Investigator while attending college
full time, and later with a law firm before obtaining his Private Investigator license
and pursuing a career in the private sector.
Randall graduated from the Southern California College of Business and Law, an American
Bar Association approved program, with a degree in Paralegal Studies and secondary
studies in Administration of Justice.
Randall has testified in the state and federal court systems. Additionally, Randall
has served as an industry expert in the review of private investigator work product.
Randall Alexander is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by the Bureau of Security
and Investigative Services, the state licensing and disciplinary agency for California
licensed private investigators.
Randall, out of 10,000 state licensed investigators, was selected by BSIS with six
other investigators to assist in the review, update and rewrite of the private investigator
state licensing exam, which determines competency for licensure.
Randall has been a member in good standing with the California Association of Licensed
Investigators (CALI) since 1999. Randall has served 6 years with CALI as a District
Governor and on the association Education Committee and Legislative Committee, receiving
several awards and recognitions.
Randall is committed to community service. He has been a board member and volunteer
since 1999 for Kids First of Orange County, a non-profit educational program for
parents and children of divorce or separation. Randall has been recognized by Kids
First on several occasions for volunteer service and exceptional performance.
Additionally, Randall has engaged in pro-bono work with non-profit agencies and privately.
