Randall is a veteran, having honorably served two tours active duty (8 years) in the United States Marine Corps with a Government Secret Clearance. He served nearly six years in a leadership position as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Fleet Marine Force.
Randall was selected for the elite Marine Security Guard detachment at Marine Barracks 8th & “I”, Washington, DC where he provided armed perimeter security at the residences for the ranking Admiral of the United States Navy (CNO) in the Washington Navy Yard and for the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) at the Marine Barracks.
Served as a Vehicle Commander with both the 1st and 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, engaged in reconnaissance & intelligence gathering for the division in excess of 19,000 Marines.

Randall has testified in the state and federal court systems. Additionally, Randall has served as an industry expert in the review of private investigator work product, providing his opinion based on codified law, case law and industry periodicals.
Randall Alexander is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, Department of Consumer Affairs, the state licensing and disciplinary agency for California licensed private investigators. Out of 10,000 state licensed investigators, Randall along with six other investigators were selected to assist in the review, update and rewrite of the private investigator state licensing exam, which determines competency for licensure.
*** ADVOCATE FOR INDUSTRY EDUCATION ***
Since 1999, Randall Alexander has been a member in good standing with the California Association of Licensed Investigators, the premier statewide professional association for licensed private investigators.
Randall is an advocate for continuing education in the private investigation industry with the belief that CE will elevate professional standards and protect the consumer.
Randall served on the Education Committee for the California Association of Licensed Investigators.
Additionally, Randall served three and a half years as the elected District Governor with the California Association of Licensed Investigators.

For the past decade, Randall has been actively involved in legislative issues, meeting with members of the state Senate and Assembly (locally and in Sacramento), to protect the tools used by the P.I. industry, which are crucial to attorney clients in the litigation process.
Randall served on the Legislative Committee for the California Association of licensed Investigators.

Randall has volunteered / served 6 yrs with the California Association of Licensed Investigators as a District Governor and on the association Education Committee and Legislative Committee.
Randall was the first recipient (2007-2008) of the annual Vice President of Administrative Service Award for service to the CALI Orange District and the association, an honor awarded by the California Association of Licensed Investigators Board of Directors.
Association members from the CALI - Orange County District membership presented Randall with a Certificate of Appreciation for his Dedication, Integrity and Leadership as their District Governor.
