CASE STUDY:
Claim:
The claimant was receiving disability benefits while convalescing at home for a work related injury.
Injury:
The claimant allegedly injured his back, neck and suffered from soft tissue damage, preventing him from returning to work.
Investigation:
It was determined through our investigation that the claimant was working another job “under the table” while receiving workers’ compensation benefits.
The claimant would fill 60 pound bags of ice, used to keep food and drinks cold by “roach coach” drivers.
